Program Description

The Florida Department of Health regulates the migrant labor camps and residential migrant housing in Florida. This governing provides sanitation and health standards relating to construction, operation, and maintenance of migrant labor camps and residential migrant housing. Please contact our Environmental Health Section for assistance and guidance in obtaining a permit. Permits must be renewed annually.
