Residents who have a disability or special need, such as a medical condition that requires assistance but not hospitalization, should register with the Florida Special Needs Shelter Registry prior to the peak of hurricane season.
Women, infants, and Children (WIC)
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a federally funded program which provides the following at no cost to the participant: healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding counseling and support, and referrals for health care.
